I have a 94 f150 that sits about 3" lower in the front and I want to level it. All I can find is 1.5 or 2" kits without buying a whole suspension lift kit. Does anyone know of a kit that I can get to lift the front this much without having to buy the whole suspension kits? Thanks for the help!
The reason you're running into trouble finding a leveling kit without the associated "extra" bracketry is because when you approach 2" of lift on the TTB (assuming yours is 4WD...TIB might be different) suspension, it becomes increasingly difficult to properly align the front end.
You basically have two options...set your sights low (pun intended ) and settle for a 2" front lift, or pony up the big bucks for the kits with the radius arm and axle pivot brackets. And FYI...aftermarket F-250/350 2WD front coils is the cheap and relatively easy way to get around 2" lift.
On TIB if you put too big of leveling kits/lifts on you will usually have too much positive camber which will wear the outsides of your tires like crazy. My truck with TIB does this.
