what else do i need??? help please

well, imma intercool the ole gal. i found both pipes, spyder boots, clamps and mounts of $50. i know i need the intercooled and rearly 99 spyder. anything else?

i found an intercooler gaurenteed good for $175 but i think thats too high. what ya'll think? i just need to know what else i need

theres a 6.0 on ebay for like 105. I got mine from GOBANKS on ebay. I was a unit removed to update to a bigger one

ya, i know... will 7.3 pipes work with the 6.0 cooler ar will i need the 7.3 pipes then?

haven't done it yet but either way you have to cut and make custom. I got 1 set of each

The pipes will have to be modded a little bit to fit IIRC. The kit TJ found is a good deal like he said if you got the coin to dish out. I've seen the same kit TJ's talkin about go for almost $700

ok, super stupid question but.....what would keep a man from using that flexible exhaust pipe?

It'll leak, the coils are just crimped and don't seal well enough to hold pressure.

x2. Those flex hose deals are junk. They only last for about a season before they rip or rust out.

so the bulk of the work is cutting the 2 holes and fabricating ur pipes just right?

It's a pretty easy process if you have a plasma torch. It took maybe ten minutes to get the hole cut. A little fabrication on the IC mounts but nothing difficult. It takes more time to remove the grille and stuff.

Intercooler pipes are a little tricky. I had to re-tack them a couple time to get them in the right spot before I welded them up.

Use good boots!!! That is probably the biggest problem with intercoolers.
