Can it be a intake leak that is making the hissing noise that i am getting? I replaced the exhaust donuts but I am still getting the noise. It starts to make the noise at 1000 RPM or just above that.
To check the intake boots (post turbo) mix up some soapy water (heavy on the soap) and spray on the boots and around the clamps. I have found a few intake leaks this way. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that you will probably need to have it running about 1200 rpm or more to have enough boost to show a leak, so be careful when leaning over the engine spraying with the engine running that fast.

Thanks, any one know of a way to test for exhaust leaks? Dont see any soot around any connections. except a very Little around one of the manifolds. Just wiped the fire wall clean it was covered with soot but may have been old stuff. Some of it was way down low on the foil right behind the manifold.
