1960 Door Locks
How is the door lock SUPPOSED to work on a 1960 F100? From the inside, it seems that sometimes if I push the lever forward, it will lock on the outside, but other times it won't. Is there some kind of trick?
Also, is there any way to make it lock without the key from the outside if I park it in a parking lot or something?

So, if the door doesn't always lock, either the latch and/or the remote control is worn.
The following parts are NOS (new, old stock) not reproductions, and fit all 1957/60 F100/1100's.

AFAIK, there's no way to lock the doors on Ford trucks prior to 1968 without the key.
