I just recently installed a 3" bodylift on my 93 F-150 302,e4od
with a 6" suspension lift, I was just wondering since I didn't
install the radiator shroud back on (just won't fit without hitting
the fan) will I have overheating problems, I know putting on a electric fan would be the solution, but, I don't want to spend $210
for a fan if I don't have to.(flexlite 210 dual fan)..unless someone
has installed that shroud on with no problem, if so can you tell me
how you did it..
Last truck I did a body lift on had the same problem - I cut the
bottom of the shroud out to clear the fan and bolted it back in place. Worked just fine.
Shroud? Oh, you mean that plastic thing that always get in the way! I haven't had one on my truck since ever, and it has no problems. Not even when it was a 1-row radiator with a 351w behind it.
