Hi guys, just wanted to make a quick thread. Me and my Dad installed the no-slip locker today. Only took it out on one test run. I'll make another post in this thread later on as I drive the truck a bit more.
So far here's what I think. For a man who knows his way around mechanics and tools, it's a simple job for a locker. It's smooth, and quiet. The first time I backed my truck out of the garage the locker made a few snapping, popping, clanging sounds. That was it. My truck effectively leaves two black marks where I burn out now, ha. Going up a mild embankment at an angle with my left rear tire lower than the right makes the differential lock up, but it has no adverse side affects.
So far it's smooth and does what it's supposed to. My dad uses the same locker in his Hot Rod, so I know it's realiable and smooth. Anyone thinking of using a Powertrax No Slip shouldn't hesitate.
I'll make another post here later on if I don't forget.
One word of warning...be VERY careful in the rain! I had a Powertrax in my Torino for a while, and it drove me nuts when the road was wet. Now, if I were to have a car that would ONLY see dry pavement/dragstrip duty, the Powertrax would be my FIRST choice!

Thanks for the warning, Pat. I'll be sure to be even extra carerful. I'm usually very cautious in wet weather to begin with anyhow.
