hard time starting.
I have a 99 Expy EB I bought it used about 8mo ago It has a new motor the dealer put in before they sold it. It now has about 15,000 miles on the new motor. Everything seemed to be working good up in till about 2-3 weeks ago. In the morning I would go out and start it and it would start right up, but then just die. I would cycle the key off then start it again and it would be fine. Now I am starting to have the problem more often. I was noticing it was doing it the first time I would start it that day. Then this morning I went out started it and same problem tried cycling the key and this time it did not work I had to sit there for a few min with my foot on the gas to keep it running. I have the EATC. This morning When I held the gas down I noticed as soon as the heater came on it would idle on it's own. Is the EATC tied into the thermostat so that when the thermostat opens then the heat will come on? I thought this might be a good starting point but does anyone have any other ideas??
