Beating a dead horse!
I know this question has been asked too many times, with too many variations, but I thought I'd ask again... :P I have a '79 F100 2wd and am looking at putting some 15x7 American Racing "Smoothie" wheels on it. The 15x7 with 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern comes with 4.25" backspacing only. I am going to run 235/70-15 tires on the truck. Will this backspacing be too much and cause the brake housing to interfere with the wheel? Is that even possible? Would I have any problems with this setup? My stock 15x6 wheels have 3.75" backspacing. Thanks in advance.
