Need A Lot Of Help, Bad!!!!!!!!!

I changed the oil cooler gaskets on my 7.3 idi and now the oil and temp gauges don't work. they worked fine before I did the job. There is no movement now.

oil sender is on the rear of the engine and the temp is on the right front
check the wiring harness you may have damaged it when the engine was jacked up in the frame , just follow the wiring from the senders to the fender

The oil pressure sending unit may have come in contact with the firewall when the engine was raised, the wiring or sender could have been damaged.

Engine temp sender is on the front of the engine though.
If someone was reaching down to the oil cooler from on top of the engine, they may have knocked the wire off, but that is about the only way I could see causing a problem there.

i had the same issue a while back and what it ended up being was the plug behind the gauges in the dash its just a few screws it had just somehow worked itself loose and plugged it back in and bingo!workin once again.they are both on the same plug so that may be what it is.cause i went through and replaced a bunch of stuff and it only took a few minutes to fix the underlying cause.just another idea for you to try.hope it all works out for ya

Ford blue you say?

About the low oil pressure. If you can't get a reading off the stock gauge, than get a mechanical one and install that even if only as a temporary measure. We had problems with other trucks not showing oil pressure or showing wrong readings, and a simple mechanical gauge will rule out any internal issue if it reads properly.

My truck is black, the red is a good contrast to the black.

Besides, when the loud pedal is down, the black smoke is rolling and the turbo is boosting up in the mid 20's, red is an appropriate color.
