Frozen distributor
#16
Mine is a 86 and I had the same problem 2 weeks ago. Here is what I did. soak with wd-40, position my engine puller over distributor tie a good rope to the distributor and jurked that mother out. Just like pulling teeth. Can you beleive it didnt even damage it. I was planning on just replacing anyway which I did but I got to turn my old intact one in for a 20 dollar core charge. The new one I got from Oreiley only cost me 50 bucks and it included the electronics in it that is a deal. I cant fill my truck up for 50 bucks. good luck scott.
