Thanks Yet Again FTE

Most of you know I been trying to get my heater working for a while now. I froze my butt off last year due to no heat. Well after lots of help from FTE members and tons of searching on this site, I got my heat back!! Turns out the door blend actuator motor must have been locked up and it was full of dust. Well I cleaned it out and sprayed silicon lub on her and she's working great! Just want to say thanks for all the help

Good deal Glenn! The blend door is a common issue in these. Mine makes that big "THUMP" when I have Max AC on in the summer. Makes me wonder if it might be needing a good cleaning/lube...

On edit, I guess that probably the door for the ext/int air recirc, but still...

Good deal Glenn. Glad you did not need to resort to the dealer. It always feels good to figure out and fix something yourself. Even if others did have input.

Wow you waited a lot longer than I would have.
I will not tolerate a heater that doesn't work. The weather up here in Seattle is so wet in the winter that you cannot see out of the windshield.
And I am cold blooded in the morning too. BRRRR!!!!

LOL, well my wife wouldn't ever want to take my truck in the winter so it save a few bucks and miles on her.

Nice... I had to use a little heat this week too. Got down in the 30s up here, and some upper 20 outside of the MetroMess...

Haven't had it all the way up yet, but have had up close to the middle.

I get a good thump from mine every once in a while too... is this something I should worry about or not?

I'm pretty sure the "Thump" is normal.
