Well, I was searching and found some conflicting info. so I'll just ask
away. 08 6.4L with roughly 900 miles, is it to soon to add additives?
The last couple of post's mentioning cetane boost and I makes alot of sense
just for that reason, but with a new motor not quite sure if it's recommended!
tia
Senix,
You've got something I can tow?
I've got nothing right now!!!!
Is that a problem that I won't be towing anything for awhile?
I was planning on a travel trailer but probably not til next year sometime...
I'm I the only diesel guy that has nothing to tow?
The more lubrication the better. I've used power service from mile 1. ULSD is extremely poor when it comes to lubrication, it's never too soon to run an additive.
Every few thousand mile I run a tank of high sulfur diesel (DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU STILL HAVE THE DPF!!!!!, I'm lucky I can still find HSD to buy) The truck runs amazing with that fuel, and it's so quite and smooth.
