I have a 68 F100 on which the box sags on one rear corner. The truck needed shocks all around and I was hoping that this would fix the problem but it did not. The trucks rides some better, but it is not as "tight" as I would like it and as I mentioned, the box still sags. The leaf springs have no visible damage, but I have no experience with those so ...
Also the coil springs on the front of the truck each have 2 "spacers" I guess they would be called. They are metal and bolted together, it looks like they were designed to limit the expansion travel of the coil. Anybody know what these are for? How does one tell if the coils and/or leaf springs need replacing?
