I have a 2007 psd, crew cab 4x4 auto trans. I want to be able to hook up a switch for high idle. I read the tech folder and there are so many differnt wire colors mentioned for different years I am confused. Is it still white/blue by gas pedal to orange in pto bundle? I would like to do it this week so any info would help. thanks. I do not have upfitteres, but am capable of wiring in my own switch.
update: very easy to find wires were right where they were suppososed to be. white with blue stripe on bundle to data link connector, orange wire next to parking brake. Parking brake must be on for high idle to work. Is there any other wire choice to hook to? any that increase rpm above 1200 if battery draw is increased?

Look for post #16.
What you will be looking for is the SEIC wire bundle. Ignore the upfitter wiring portion. You will need to connect the solid orange wire to a switched 12v switch. This is for a truck equiped with an auto trans. For the manual trans there is a different wire that I used. If you read through the above thread there is a ton of info.
