99' PSD Airbag Question

Was wondering on my 99' PSD if the passenger side airbag was an option that year? It seems weird but I guess things were different 10 years ago, haha! On my passenger side it has the compartment but doesn't say airbag on it and the disclaimer isn't on the visor. Just curious for when I have rug rats

It may have been an option. My 01 has a key switch on the dash that allows the air bag to be shut off. What does the owners manual say?

Just says option, but didn't want to go by just that. I don't have the key though so maybe I don't have one.

All airbags are required to be labled in the cover. If there is an airbag on that side, it will say srs or airbag on it. If there is no writing on the right hand side of where it would be , there isn't an airbag there.

The key was only used on standard and super cabs, not on the crew cabs so it also depends on the cab style whether you have the key to turn it off or not.
