idle adjuster?
hello. i have a/c now and my friend was telling me about something that i can run off the clutch wire so that when i turn the compressor on it will increase my idle on my carburetor. i have no idea what its called though or where to get one.

Hey Danger, If I remember correctly Ford used the idle stop solenoid for bumping the idle with a/c. It's just a one wire electric plunger solenoid that pushes on the carb linkage. Hit the junk yard, I think you will find one and the bracket on mid 70s and early 80s Fords.

i wish i could find a junkyard man. i always hear about them but never have been to one or drove by one in my life. the best i've seen was a ripoff place that had an inventory and front desk, you tell them what you want and they have someone go out and get it and then charge you retail prices. it was like a salvage yard that i bought a steering column from because she was my daily driver at the time and they were the only ones that had one.
