I have a 65 f350 and I am looking at changing the instrument cluster to get more gauges. I have what I believe is the optional ammeter and oil pressure gauge. The pictures I have seen of other gauge clusters show the speedo in the middle with a stamped round area on either side where the optioal gauges go.
Is there a gauge panel that does not have the stamped round area. Where the horizontal lines go all the way accross. I would then put four extra gauges in.
I just picked up a Cummins 5.9 and plan on swapping it in. I would like to keep the cab as clean as possible but I need a place for a boost and exhaust temp gauge.
Not clear which type instrument cluster trying to locate. Have a 65 F100, originally had the round speedo, with the oil and Alt. idiot lights. Purchased a cluster on ebay that has the round speedo with the 2" round Amp. and Oil pressure gauge on each side. Eventually installed the circuits, now have both, idiot and gauges. If looking for simular, occasionally see them on ebay, currently there are a couple sweeping and few with the round speedo on auction.
I am looking for a round speedo cluster without the optional gauges and without the round indents on either side of the speedo. I don't think they made one apparently.

Take a look at my gallery check out my dash. Is this what your looking for?
I understand the type of cluster your looking for, not wnating a round indention look; but for a OEM look I reccommend using a F600 speedo, yeah it got several additional holes; but its factory with rpm & air pressure. Got a localbuudy who's usually has one on ebay for sell; if interested I could ask him the next time I see him.

That is exactly what I am looking for. I want it to be smooth on both sides of the speedo so I can put 2 gauges on either side. Is that a stock peice or did you fabricate that?

Is it like this one. It says it fits 67-72, but it looks like it would fit. Can it be modified?
1966/77 Bronco's use a similar round cluster. Instead of idiot lights for the oil and amp gauges, it has all four gauges enclosed within.
I used that style cluster in my truck. I put the F100 speedo in the bronco cluster to retain the original speedo rather than the bronco one. Looks completely factory and wiring should be a snap.
The early bronco speedometer was also available in kilometers per hour for Canadian Broncs when Canada went metric around '76/'77. These registered to 160 km/h. A guy in town who used to race a Bronc in the Baja500 used to get them and recalibrate them for MPH, so he'd have a factory appearing 160 mph speedo. Probably not what most of you are looking for, but I just thought I'd throw that out there. I see Carpenter has some km/h speedos in their catalog.

An instrument cluster that fits a 1967 F500/750 will not fit a 1968/72 F500/750. None of these F500/750 clusters will fit any 1967/72 F100/350 panels, either, because...
These two panels are different than the F100/350 panels, and there are 3 different ones of these: 1967 only (C7TZ-8104320-A) / 1968/69 (C8TZ-8104320-A) / 1970/72 (DOTZ-8104320-A).
None of these instrument panels, or instrument clusters are the same as 1961/66's.
So...an instrument cluster from a 1967, or 1968/72 F500/750 will not fit a 1961/66.
