C6 info needed

C6 info needed

Are the internals of a big block C6 interchangeable with a medium block?
I have a junk tranny bolted to a 360.
I can purchase a rebuilt from a guy for 150.00. But it was bolted to a 460. His project went south and he is parting it out.

Yes. There's a but to it. There are light duty C6's that have less clutchs in the packs

After saying that I thought if Your takeing it apart to swap parts.
90% of the time the parts it takes to get a C6 working only cost $20.
So take Yours apart find what out needs?

They ran the band down metal to metal. Now the Rev-high drum is all scored. I'm thinking it will just eat up a new band. And the valve body was packed full of ??????Sooooo. Away I go.
