SS HPX from ITP, need help

cold hard rockin stroker
I am a new member,although I have a 99 f-250 7.3 truck is all stock I recently had a problem with truck,starts easily, but when starts idles rough,lots of white smoke if I push on pedal or even triy to move truck gallops/romps/shakes hard,if after starting cold truck let warm up to norm temp seems to idle and run fine,I was told IPR would this be the problem?one other guy told me he had same problem and a HPOP Xover corrected the problem, one other said injector hope its not injector,can any one diognosis,I work construction im no machanic although I do some minor repairs on my own.can youy educate me on were to start or rule out one thing or the other?thanks for your help.Also when after cold start I push the pedal seems like flooding will hold pedal at roughly 2000rpm rpm drop back without leting off,when I do let off engine idles 500-900rpmsat random then evens out than will idle rough till warm.

Stick around, you'll get all the knowledge you would ever want.
Besides the GPR and GP issues, your weight of your oil will affect your cold start conditions since oil is needed to fire your injectors. If you are living in a cold climate, you may want to switch to synth oil (Rotella 5w-40) or equivalent for easier starts. Good luck.
