Electrical issues
ok the head light and park light switch went out in my truck, now i have no brake lights or turn signals, are all lights ran through the switch or do i have some other wiring issues also?

The turn signals and stop lights share the same fuse. I would check to see if it's blown. I'd suggest removing the headlight switch and looking closely at the connector. These switches tend to overheat which damages both the switch and the connector. Overloading them with non factory light just adds to the problem.
I have studied the wiring diagrams for these trucks and came to the conclusion that most of them should have burned to the ground before the factory warranty expired.

C5TZ11654A .. Headlamp Switch (Motorcraft SW539) / Obsolete
Fits: 1965/72 F100/350. Autoparts stores can cross the Motorcraft number over to the brands they sell.
There is another switch listed for 1965/72's, but it was only used on Open Drive-Away Cab & Windshield, or Cab & Cowl models.

Redcat Diesel: ALL the 1968/69 cars, 1968/69 F100/350's, 1970 F100/350's, 1969/70 Econolines (both 1970's before serial # G90,001) used an ignition switch that shorted out internally and caught fire.
1000's of vehicles were destroyed by fire, caused by these faulty switches. Most of the vehicles were new, or nearly new.
One local dealership burned to the ground in 1969. The cause was linked to a new LTD's faulty switch.
Ford came out with a new switch (D1AZ11572C ~ Motorcraft SW1054) that came with a pigtailed wire plug. This replacement switch is still available from Ford.
While most of the faulty switches were replaced for free back then via a Ford "campaign" as there was no recall, because vehicles weren't recalled in those days....
One never knows if some of those faulty switches are still around...in someone's vehicle.
