Whats this thingy in the 2000 owners manual(It may seem archaic, but i read my owners manual sometimes just for fun lol). In the manual it says the following:
If the engine reaches a preset over-temperature condition, the engine
will automatically switch to alternating cylinder operation. Each disabled
cylinder acts as an air pump and cools the engine.
When this occurs the vehicle will still operate. However:
•
the engine power will be limited.
• the air conditioning system will be disabled.
DO I have this? I like knowing things about my trucks especially if my temp gauge starts doing its climb to where i definitly dont want it.
