Tranny question

Added a new tru cool max to the Dually, Had a hose clamp I forgot to tighten...OOps. drove the truck found the leak tightened it. I added some tranny fluid back to it. Drove the truck for a week. Then I went outta town for a few days and the truck sat parked. Got home and saw the tranny had dripped a bit. Not from the cooler but from the tranny. I am assuming I filled it a little too much. Anything I need to worry abt? Or will it self adjust?

Check your fluid level. If it is too full take some fluid out. Too much fluid is no good.

Depends on where the leak is from. If overfull, the oil may be coming from the vent hose in the top of the case. I would check it after it is warmed up and if it is overfull, let a little out of the drain plug. Too much oil in the trans or engine can churn up and create foaming. Air; not a good thing for creating pressure.

Make sure all the connections on the tru-cool cooler are not leaking. I had red fluid leaking off the trans myself. Turns out I had a leak in the billet housing for the stat. I do have red coolent, so if you have the green coolent in your rad, then don't listen to anything I am saying.
