Talking Fng - MD

Hello All,<O</O
I am the proud new owner of a "new to me" 2000 Excursion 4x4 Limited. I'm looking forward to exchanging many thoughts, ideas, laughs, jeers (just a few of those) with the FTE members here.

Help:
I'm about to set up my profile as I plan to spend some time on here, but I still can't figure out how to link or post pics in posts. I host my pics on Picasa (Gmail).

BTW, I've already benefitted from the CUINAK posting on door lock actuator install procedure. Right on.

Welcome to the site, Roy.

I believe that you'll have to have 25 posts in to be able to put up your pics.

Stop by and introduce yourself to Dave and the rest of the folks in FTE's Maryland chapter - here's a link to the chapter forum:https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum186/

You'll probably find someone hanging out in this thread right now:https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...me-2-a-33.html

Jump right in - great bunch of folks there.

Enjoy - and thanks for joining us on FTE.

Hello Roy and welcome to FTE. Go to your User CP, it's at the left side of the blue bar above the first post in the thread. Go to edit gallery and follow the instructions to load pics from your computer. After you have them in your gallery you can use the edit gallery to bring up a screen with thumbnails of all the pics in that gallery. Under each pic is an option line with edit, delete photo and Forum codes. Click on Forum codes and copy the code for the pic size you want. Using the advanced posting form click on the image insert tool ( 4th from right in toolbar) and paste that code into the box that opens. When you click on the OK button the image URL will be inserted into your post.
To simply link to a picture somewhere else you can open that location and highlight the URL at the top of the page. Then copy it (control+c) and paste it (control+v) into the post and it should appear as a link. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/index.php
I hope that I have gotten those instructions correct. and that you can understand them.
