Limited Slip
I would get the complete kit since you are changing the ring and pinion too. The major kit should come with all new bearings, crush sleeve, shims ect. But even the major kit may not contain a wide enough assortment of shims to set the pinion depth correctly. This usually isn't a DIY'er task unless you have the specialized tools, extra shims and knowledge needed. If you miss the pinion depth a new crush sleeve will be needed.
That being said, there are many guys here that can walk you through the process but it may take a little extra time because you will need to make things on the fly. ie. grind the old bearing so they slip on and off the pinion gear. Figure out a way to measure the pinion depth within thousandths of an inch ect.
I've changed a lot of ring and pinions and found it much faster and less hassle to have it done at a R&P shop. The guy I use charges $20-30 labor + parts for the swap. He can get the bearings, shims and crush sleeves cheaper than I can so it's a win, win situation. It's a bolt in job from there.
