[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-16-03 AT 06:02 PM (EST)]I am considering purchasing a Rancho 4 inch lift that was used for only 6 months supposedly, and was not used off road supposedly. First I would like to know how is a Rancho lift? any good? I've always heard they were but how are they on a TTB setup? equal to skyjacker? and is it an ok idea to buy used suspension lifts? How do i ensure i don't get crap, what's the best payment method over long distances?
Also, could i run 35's without rubbing, or just 33's?
they are usually one of the best. i know their ford ttb lifts are probably the most expensive you can buy compared with bds superlift and skyjacker. the quality must be there because they have such a good name.
id look at the component closely before you buy them. make sure nothing is worn out or cracking. if they are still painted up nice and nothings beat or looks abused then id say go for it.
but since your doing this long distance i guess you cant look at the lift. ask him to take close up high res pictures of the stuff.
and 33s are the biggest to go if you want it to look right and probably drive right. id personally go with 32x11.50s or 33x10.50s but thats just me
