Rancho 4" Lift

I had it on my SD for 3 years. Didn't care for the ride, springs are sort of stiff and the Rancho shocks aren't very good IMO. Right now I'm running 4" Deaver springs from Donahoe Racing and a 4.5" Donahoe Racing hanger and shackle for a 8.5" lift with Donahoe Racing Signature Series shocks and it rides better, springs are softer and flex better.
I'd recommend either the 4" Donahoe Racing (the the 4" Deaver springs up front) or the 4.5" Donahoe Racing that is a hanger and shackle lift......DR shocks with either setup.

Do you have a gas or diesel truck? I have a V-10 and run the Rancho 2.5" gas springs and have no complaints. Rancho makes seperate springs for gas and diesel. I believe they are a 10 leaf design. As far as shocks, I'm running Les Schwab RMX which are re-badged Gabriel Max-Control gas shock.

I ran the Rancho 4" springs for about two years. Stiff and jarring is how I'd describe the ride quality. Of course that's relative to the my new set-up, Rubicon 6.5". The funny thing is I probably didn't realize just how harsh the Rancho was until I experienced the Rubicon.
