Fuel Cost
It seems that the prices are slowly dropping. Diesel is where it should be...with regards to placement, not necessarily price at this ARCO in Redlands, CA. I figure people in other states are paying less than here in California but I felt I'd share to those local. I was there on Friday and actually felt better about not paying as much as gasoline!
Now to get it below $2/Gal...

......and we make it!
Canada’s oil industry currently produces about 2.8 million barrels, about 118 million gallons, every day and imports one million barrels a day of light crude from the North Sea, Nigeria and Venezuela, says Stephen Rodrigues, a researcher for the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.

#1 and #2 diesel is the quality and how much it is refined. if you had a glass of each, you would see that the #2 has alot of black particles still floating in it. #1 looks like gasoilne. not summer and winter blends. i work for a large mass transit company here in philadelphia, SEPTA, and we used to use the #2 until we got our new busses that require the ultra low sulfur fuel. one of our depots uses about 12,000 gallons of fuel per day. and thats everyday of the year, we never close......ever......our fuel contract that we have has us paying about $1.00 per gallon. oh, regular gas is $2.67 but i have seen it about a mile down the road for $3.09/gal too.
