sweating/deodorant

for the life of me i cant figure out why i sweat inmy arm pits the way i do...

i live/have a stress free lifestyle, and have for many years. the temperature at my workplace is a very cool 72 degrees, i have a fan blowing on me underneath my desk, sometimes i even get the shakes cuz its cold. i have a desk job, i dont move.....but the sweat that pours in frommy armpits is friggen rediculous. i trim my pits,so theres no afro.....and when i had an afro is was still sweating like noones business. i have tried a variety of deordorents, mostly dove products and all of them have the anti persperent crap......now i see a new derek jeter commercial promoting gillette CLINICAL deodorant...10 bucks by the way.....and as im typing i can feel the drip. so now i keep some paper towels and damp off every 30 minutes or so....

is there something wrong with me,that i dont know about

the weird thing is if its my day off and im out and about i dont really get like this

any ideas suggestions, im really thinking about inventing some arm pit diapers or something

Don't laugh but Botox works wonders for this condition. I think you have to get it done every 6 to 9 months. I'm not sure what the price is, but from what I heard, it stops sweating under the pits enough so that some don't use deodorant again.

That sounds brutal.

lol, i saw the botox thing in steves link, the people that have sweaty palms, and sweaty pits and other areas need more than just prescription deodorant. i just suffer from sweaty pits, nothing else. i even had to turn the fan off underneath my desk, because im shivering in my office....but my shirt is water logged in my armpits.....this all started about 2-3 years ago (im 31) and it has been getting alot worse

I use SpeedStick anti-perspirant. That stuff about it clogging your pores is nonsense. If that were true, I wouldn't be able to sweat from my pits by now. Let your pit hair grow, then the AP will stick to the hair and absorb the sweat. But, sometimes when the house is cool, and I'm sitting at the computer, I've noticed I get "pit drip", too, even after AP.

Yeah, you know, when you're wearing a loose shirt, and it drips off your pit hair and hits you on the side near the waist...feels cold and gets your attention!

I have had 'pitt-drip' happen to me on occasions while on my way to work in my truck on a hot day (no AC). The rest of my body wasn't sweating either...

I sure hope it doesn't get worse.

Good luck freirefishing
