Cool yet another one falls for the old idi, theres nothing more simple then a mechanical diesel.
Over the two years that I have had my truck, I think ive put more money into the ford parts then the internation motor. The only things to go on the motor were the fuel pump and the starter. Other then that, ive beat on it everyday, hauled overloaded trailers for hours at a time and its always pulled through.
Right know Im trying to find someone fairly local that can time my motor. I dont think its ever been done and just feels a little sluggish at times.
Youll really love our idi, there dang near bullet proof. Once ya have some basic knowledge of how the motor operates, youll never have a problem fixing anything.

Hi Bruce - I totally enjoyed meeting you and your brother. I thought maybe you didn't love me anymore since you never made any comments in my "I met Bdox" thread in the General Forum.......... 
Hopefully next time you're down my way you can stay longer and get to meet Steve too. I think you two would hit it off but beware, he's a talker.
