Yeah, I think ive only seen two or three other trucks like mine around. They maybe a little slow but they get the job done for pretty cheap. Hauling 8000lbs I average around 15-16 mpg. I just dont win any land speed records doing it!

Yup they are good trucks. I love my PSD. It will hual what ever and get good MPGS and I can work on it myself. Really is the best truck ive ever owned. I love the sound of a turboed IDI though. it has the true Diesel sound to it.

Yup I love it. I like the noise too, the good old diesel clank. What turbo are you planning on? Are there a lot of preformance mods for them? I havent ever looked into beefing up an IDI.

Yeh, you can do a lot to beef up an IDI, it just takes a little knowledge. I was planning on running a hypermax kit and they run about 1800 bucks new. I could also get a complete banks kit for 2300 so its a toss up.

I really don't have the cash at the moment anyway. I've also bought and sold two complete systems, I just want something that I can easily put on and not have to fabricate what I need to finish the kit.

(Sorry of the late reply, dont get on here as much as id like)

Got my first diesel 2 months ago and just found this thread, I'm in Sarasota. I wanted an IDI so I could learn on something simple, now I know simple and diesel don't belong in the same room. Think this truck is the best though.
