SCT Tuner
Hi everyone....I just bought a SCT tuner and I'm thinking about buying a second 6.0 truck. My question is: Can I run that 1 tuner on both trucks? I actually havent even plugged my 1st truck in yet waiting for it to get done with a head job. But I've been thinking about getting another one for a while. Thanks....Z

no you can only use a tunner on one truck at a time, cause the way I understand it is it actually takes your factory settings and puts it on the tunner installer and puts the tunes in your truck. so there wont be anyway of using it on anouther truck. That might not be exactly how it works, but you cant put it on more than one truck at a time.

Once you tune a vehicle with the SCT it locks itself to that vehicle and is in "aftermarket" mode. You will have to return that vehicle to stock before you can tune another vehicle. You can only do this 5 times before it will have to be unlocked by SCT.
