Coolant Filter install ?'s
Just a few quick questions for you guys that have installed a coolant filter kit. First off when splicing into the line back next to the oil fill tube, does it help to remove the intercooler tube or is it really not necessary. Secondly I have heard from some other threads that there can be quite a bit of coolant lose when you cut that hose unless you have someone else there to hold up on the hose ends after you cut it. Question is can I just drain some of the water out of the radiator first and then add it back in after I am done? If so, about how much would I need to drain? Thanks for your help guys.
