A little chrome for ya
I found this on ebay. Hard to find chrome stuff for powerstrokes/excursions.I just ordered 1,
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%"><TBODY><TR bgColor=#ccccff><TD vAlign=top></TD><TD></TD><TD class=titlePadding vAlign=top>
</TD><TD class=titlePadding width="100%">Ford Truck Excursion CHROME 125 Amp Alternator 98-03
</TD><TD noWrap align=right>Item number: 140268579634</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Sorry not sure how to post it...

That seems like a decent price for a non-chrome alternator. For a plated one, that must be a very good price. Is it too good to be true?

Oh your right. I forgot the diesels came with a smaller alternator than the gas trucks. My v10 X came stock with a 140 amp alt.

yeah, you will be ok if you arent running any major stereo equipment or lights. i pull 165-180 amps for just my stereo and another 90 or so for the truck.

Nope..The back is chromed. It's 1/2"to3/4" piece in the middle that does not have chrome.
