bought new truck!

so i have been looking for a used F150 to use as my DD to and from appointments for work.... well after i searched around and priced some out i was gonna end up paying like 320 a month because financing on a used truck is pretty crappy....and the trucks had like 60k+ on them

so i heard about the 0% APR for Ford... i decided to go today after work and i picked myself out a new 08 extended cab, XLT, 5.4L long bed... just exactly what i wanted and my payments were only 30 bucks more a month for a new truck....

the color is that gun metal color... ill be linexing the bed next week, get front windows tinted tomorrow and put my old tool box (black) on it from my SD

its pretty dark outside right now so ill take some pics in the morning but so far i love this thing... drives really nice...

.here are some pics.. .ill get better ones tomorrow

here is my other truck... its just too big to drive around as a DD now so its getting parked:

im still debating on if i should put an intake and the edge on it yet... how traceable is the tuner?

thanks for everyones help.... i had alot of questions through the last couple of months and you guys def helped me pick the right F-150

nice new truck...and I really like the SD

tuner is not traceable at all. it leaves a code in the PCM that says the PCM had codes read.

I'm looking forward to the daylight pics. It kind of disappears in the darkness, but tylus has a cure for that, right tylus? See his thread; https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...k-warning.html

yep, but you have to have the OEM lights first. The Recon set only comes with new bulbs and lens...no base

it'll handle it with ease, just load it slow. i'm a carpenter so my '08 s'crew gets the "work truck" badge as well and it hasn't/won't let me down.

sweet truck, it'll be good to you.

you are gunna wanna get rid of those rugged trails if u have to haul that kinda weight on a regular basis, but then again they get chewed up so quick that u might aswell just wear them out lol
