E4OD coolant line question-flow direction

Does the fluid flow out the coolant line fitting on the front of the case and in the fitting at the rear, or out the rear and in the front?

It flows from the front of the case to the coolers and returns to the trans at the rear of the case.

No, not always. The AOD/4R70W has the lines one above the other, not front and rear.
