08 ipod

Looking to ipod up

my 08 250. Considering ford's harness that plugs into the line-in or other brands that plugs into back of radio. Any advice?

My wife and I just use the line in on our '08 and on our previous truck. Of course, we have since misplaced/lost our iPod, but I bought her an iPhone. I dont know if/how an iPod would work with SYNC, but with our radio, we would still need 100% access to the iPod itself. We keep a small cord in our center console if we need to hook it up. We have also used this cord for portable DVD players (more for her to watch and I get to listen if we are on the road).
