I'll run it in my 7.3L also until I pull the motor then I'll probably run Fleetcharge in it after doing a good drain/flush.
I don't know about Ford gold heavy duty, But the premium gold engine coolant which is used for 6.0 diesel has Supplemental Coolant Additive built in no need to add any. I just ran a check on my 1989 7.3 which has a 50-50 of the gold and the nitrite reading is 1200 PPM which is ideal, freeze point -34, PH 8.0 using Wix coolant test strips EXP 11/09
