Pretty much all but one stack setup I've built has been DIY. The kits are pretty reasonable though. What do you want to know?

how many 90 degree elbows would I need? I was thinking only one that would get to the bed and connect to a piece of flex pipe and that connecting into the exhaust. And the exhaust going into the 90 degree elbow.

Yes, for a single stack setup, you only need one 90*. Most guys doing a single stack are welding the stack to a plate and bolting it to the bed floor after cutting the hole. That plate should have about 3-4" of pipe sticking below the bed so you can connect it to the 90*. Does that make sense?

Prolly 4" Are you ordering one, or do you have one? You can get them from airflo.com for about $90. Which is stupid high. If I was in a pinch, I'd order a stick of 4" exhaust tubing from jegs for $14 and do a few 22* cuts and make my own 90*.

Whatever you do, don't just cut a 45* and weld a square 90*. Try your best to get at least one joint in between to help flow.
