Window Regulator Replacement
Believe that I need to replace the window regulator on my 01 F150 4x4 supercab.
I might be able to get away with fixing a connection between the lift motor and regulator because I found a broken screw when I pulled the door panel to get an initial look.
Question is, are the rivets a special size, or will a standard 1/4 inch one fit and hold properly?
I am hoping that fixing the broken screw will fix the problem. The window stops about half way when going up. If I pull the window towards the rear of the truck (not up) it will finish going up just fine. When I pull the window towards the rear of the truck it will move (rock) between 1/4 and 1/2 inch.
