Finding literature specific to yours will be a challenge. The closest I can get you are the pages from the 1952 Hildy's Blue Book of special equipment. I see from your profile, though, that your truck is a '54. There are three pages in my Hildy's devoted to Daybrook products that may or may not be exactly right for your '54. If nobody jumps on here with a better solution, I'll take the book tomorrow and have copies made then post them for you. Also, maybe Bob Jones or one of the other guys that has Hildy's on disc can cover you. Stu
The truck in the eBay photo is not my truck. It was a mid '70's and it looks like the hoist was used when it was put on. I have no idea how old the hoist is. I heard Daybrook closed in the mid sixtys. It would be nice to have a parts breakdown and know the rated capacity. I do believe it is the correct vintage for my '54 F-500 but it may be a little overkill.
Truckdog, Thanks for the info. I had not found anything like it on the net. Im thinking I have a heavy duty 7" double arm speedlift for a tandem axle truck. This hoist is heavy, about 750 pounds. I may convert it to a direct lift hoist as shown in the top picture.

I have the same daybrook hydraulic speedlift on my dump trailer, I've always been curious how old this thing is and what its capacity is.
