New process 435 manual TX
i just pulled the TX from the truck and it's a big, messy and heavy thing, with transfer case. My question is what is the best way to clean it to get ready for re-paint. Also what things should i replace while i have it removed, seals, filters???

Putty knife with newspapers at the ready to start.
Pressure wash/steam clean through a shop if there's one nearby.
Solvent, rubber gloves, rags....
Don't use gasoline, it cleans great but the downside is just not acceptable....
