I am looking at getting an Auburn posi center section, or the Detroit locker. I have heard good things about both, but wanted to know what your guy's experiences have been. Or is there a better one, more economical??

if you have an 8.8 or 9 inch definately go with the auburn "pro" not the high performance. the auburn pro is a much stronger differential and is a limmited slip which will lock both wheels when you are applying torque "accelerating" and will release when you go around a turn for a much quieter and comfortable ride than the detroit locker and is also much more affordable at $370 on www.moserengineering.com if you are not running alot of horsepower and want to save the $60 you can go with the auburn high performance buy i would strongly suggest going with the pro its only another 60 and you wont have to worry about blowing it. i called and asked about the torque it would hold and they said as long as you are not running faster than an 11 sec quarter mile you dont have to worry about the pro letting go. Good Luck let me know if you find something better or cheaper or both
