wire harness installation
hi guys just wanted to know what im in for going to install a cab to engine wire harness from centech. as soon as i get the scratch up to pay for it. has anyone ever did this before in their rig. going to be installing factory ac also( winter project) of coarse.i am new to this forum any help would be great.my truck 77 ford .

Welcome to the forum. I don't know your reason for going with an aftermarket harness but have you thought about pulling one from a vehicle in the salvage yard. I took one from a 78 w/AC for my 77 wo/AC and the only difference was the electrical connector for the blower motor. I did this in preparation for installing factory AC into my non-AC cab. Everything was the same so I just used my original harness(sorry, don't have the other one anymore).

Instructions for installation are very straight forward and easy to follow. I used some pieces from my old harness such as the cargo light wire, door jamb switch connectors and some wiring for A/C. I also had some factory wiring diagrams along with the ones supplied by Centech just to make sure I had everything right.
