so i just picked up a front end from a newer f350 cheep so i got it without knowing if it would work in my truck or not because it should work in my bogger at least i have a 94 turbo diesel and it is leaf sprung and this front end is coil spring can it be converted to leaf spring ?
If it's coil sprung and it's a 60 it's out of an '05-up SuperDuty.
Couple'a problems:
One is that it will have a metric bolt pattern so it doesn't match the older wheels.
On a "bogger" this might not be a problem you'll just have to use S.D. wheels on the front.
The other problem is that it has non-serviceable "unit bearings instead of the old wheel bearing set-up, they are alot more expensive to replace BUT they are sealed up better which should keep mud and water otu better. So again might not be so bad.
You can cut all of the bracketry off of it and buy some leaf sprig pearches and weld them on but you have to get yttour caster and camber right first.
