Just bought and installed my Extang tonno cover. What a job and a half. The rail that sits behind the cab is either too long or the clamps that came w/ it are too narrow. To make the side rails fir w/ the clamps the cab rail is bowed in the middle and the clamps pull the rails in so far in the center that the center bow will not go in. Waited since March for an Extang tonno because of their good reputation should have bought a different one. I e-mailed them lets see what happens.
Hey buddy you need to get yourself a "Snug Top/Snug Lid" I just got my Supercrew a month ago and bought the Snug Lid and it's beautiful! It matches my color exactly (Wedgewood Blue) because they make them specifically for fords colors. It was $700 but it's guaranteed for life not to fade and it's built to last!
I recently bought a Retrax retractable bed cover and love it. It was quick and easy to install. You should check out their website:
www.rolltopcover.com before buying anything else.
I finally got thru to "Extang" and they stated that the clamp package sent w/ my tonno was the incorrect one. The right one should be here by 10/20 or so. I'll see if this works.
Sorry to get back so late but I didn't get back to the site until today. the site is "Snugtop.com" do yourself a favor and get this one it is the best. I got mine for $670 but it is worth it!
