Tim needs a bit of help

Hey Guys......

I would like to be capable of preventing my truck from being started...meaning jumped or if broke into not able to start....or prevented form just being driven away….

I have an alarm....I will not mess with that!

So how can I disable the truck and still keep the alarm on...will disconnecting one bat prevent that ....or .......

Any and all Ideas are greatly appreciated....

Ravelco Anti Theft Device

There are a few folks here that have this device installed, myself included.

It has no effect on the alarm.

You could do this for your Vespa and your truck...just need a bigger bottle.

I do it the cheap way. I take out the relay for the injectors under the hood when i am going to park in a public area for any amount of time. I figure if it doesn't start right away they'll move on to something else.

Here ya go...and no it won't start. If a person knows what they are doing they can jumper the contacts where the relay goes, but a thief would move on to another truck I would think instead of wasting time trying to find out why it isn't starting. I just put the relay in my pocket or hide it in the truck somewhere.
Location is under the brake reservoir

Lid removed

Relay removed

Also the other relays in the box will not fit as this is the only high amp relay.

I am VERY pleased w/ the Ravelco. They advertise that NO vehicle has ever been stolen by defeating their system. It is a quality product IMO.
