Oh, I know what you're talking about- being a boat enthusiast, I've heard the name before, just couldn't put 2 & 2 together...
I'm still here in SoCal (until Feb 09) but my damn work computer is so slow to load that I get frustrated and give up trying to get on during the day, and when I get home the wife is on my *** about being on the computer all the time, so unfortunately I haven't been around much. I'm actually on duty tonight, so the computer is pretty fast, and man it feels good to get back on!!

When is your wife not on your a$$? I think it's part of the job description. Either way, it's good to see you hanging around again. Are you still going to do the police type thing?
I never got to surf the internet when I was on duty as a grunt. Of course there wasn't an internet to surf and no one had cell phones yet, but that's besides the point. I would have thought the connection at a duty station would be extremely fast (probably is on the Army/Navy/Air Force side). Considering what I've seen, I wouldn't be too surprised if you were connected on a 56k modem.
Nah, I'm on a fast connection (don't ask me what it is, I'm not computer smart) I'm actually going to do the BTT- Border Transition Team, so I'll be on the Syrian / Iraqi border somewhere next year. So no kicking in doors for me, just shooting "illegals" trying to cross the border. Too bad we can't do that here......

I will tell you that army internet blows. Plus, it wont even let me get on FTE. Somebody has this site blocked. They won't let us get on any site that might be a little "fun."

We used to have to fire warning shots at the live ranges in Pendleton before an exercise to make sure there were no illegals sleeping in the targets. 5.56 rounds whizzing off an abandoned track. Now that's a wake up call.

Sounds like the CO is a Dodge guy.
Apologies to Jorge for hijacking your thread, but from the sounds of your test, I think you're heater is fine. I'll try and remember to get a reading on mine tomorrow for comparison.
