Upper Intercooler Hose Blowing Off
The blue hose from the turbo to the intercooler pipe keeps blowing off. I posted this topic a few weeks ago and someone told me to clean the surfaces with a solvent and this should cure the problem. I did that and the same results. I blocked off the egr system prior to this happening? Could this be the problem, too much backpressure, boost?

I had the same problem with my 04 psd I removed the hose gave it a good (6 times) solvent cleaning let it dry for a while. While waiting for the hose to dry I cleaned the end of the turbo and the pipe with solvent took some 700 grit paper and cleaned the ends of the turbo and pipe.. reinstalled the hose and clamps no problem after...

The problem is that after awhile the boots get soft from oil (from the ccv system) and once the hose has gotten to the point that it blows off it will be harder and harder to keep it tight enough to stay.
I had the same problem so I just bought a new hose and had no more problem.
