Transmission Range sensor 2001 E350
I hqve a 2001 E350 and the back up lights do not work. I discovered that fuse 12 (15A) was blown. This fuse also controls the Transmission Range Sensor. I relaced the fuse and the back up lights still do not work. Will a faulty transmission range sensor cause this problem and if so will there be any code that would confirm this?

There will be no fault codes.
Most likely, you have (or had) a short circuit in the backup lamp circuit.
F12 feeds the TR sensor solely for the purpose of it switching the backup lamps on when the selector lever is placed in reverse.
Worst case, the TR sensor has also failed and now won't switch the lamps on.
