torque converter

hello. i have a 351M that i am about to put in my 74 f 100. i have a c6 transmission being delivered this weekend, but no torque converter yet. I do have the torque converter that is with the c4 (which is behind the 302 that I'm pulling out of the truck). Can I use that torque converter with my c6? Any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

I dont think the input shafts are the same. They might be but I would spent a little money and go ahead with a new one, that way everything is new.

Second that. Why put old parts in a new trans. Can be found for fairily reasonable price.

If it fits and the converter is still in shape you will have a higher stall than stock, probably above 2000 rpm due to the stronger torque of the 351. Dont know if it will stand the greater power...
